Chad Miller has built Grain Social , slices network which became quickslice, and has been experimenting with various ways to simplify the entire backend of your app, aka the "appview" that aggregates Lexicon data from across the ATProto network.

His workshop dives into AppViews, what they are, how they work, and the different ways to implement them. He'll explore how tools like quickslice can abstract away the complexity so you can stay focused on your Lexicons and UI/UX.

We'll also look at additional tools, including Tap, AIP, Constellation, and more, covering approaches from getting started all the way to production.

Bring your questions. Many answers are "it depends," shaped by your specific product and Lexicon design.

The Abstracting the Appview workshop runs from 2pm - 4pm on Thursday, March 26th, after the lunch break.

All workshops are included in your core ticket price, but capacity is limited. Please make your ticket selections to select this workshop, and bring your laptop and appview dreams.
