Yes, we are underway for Atmosphere Conference organizing! Check out the delightful placeholder site at https://atmosphereconf.org.
What we can tell you so far:
the conference will be in Europe 🇪🇺
it will likely be last week of April and/or first week of May
Just like the 2026 edition we are planning for a total of four days (conference + side-events), and want to continue to have the conference be an event that many different groups of people want to come to and enjoy.
There is an Atmosphere Community Co-Op being formed, and it will be the organization responsible for putting on the conference.
On the Co-Op side, Boris & Chad will be supporting the conference. And we have a few other organizers to announce:
Ms Boba, Web Mistress
For the conference organizing team, we have Ms Boba joining us again as Web Mistress, and she's already started recruiting contributors - thanks for your early support on the website alreayd!
Guido, Core Organizer
And introducing Guido as a new core organizer. Guido organized many open source tech conferences over the past 20 years and will also be our boots-on-the-ground in 🇪🇺.
Moat Studio
We’re also joined by Moat Studio supporting venue coordination, event operations, and creative direction.
Moat Studio has been involved with many excellent events over the years, and we're very glad to be supported by the team!
Getting Involved
We’re forming a content committee and track leads for different topics.
Want to host a side event? Get in touch!
The website is going to continue to be more atmospheric, and your ideas and help (and PRs) are welcome.
Once we announce venue and location details, we hope locals will also help volunteer for the much needed on-site support during the conference.
You & Me leaderboards, goose merch, and so, so many stickers. We're looking forward to see you next year!
Get Updates!
We’ll have more to announce in the coming days and weeks. We have to finalize the venue & exact dates, which we hope to do in the next 2 weeks.
Follow the main account for updates on socials, and you can subscribe here for updates by email, and wherever you read your Atmosphere.
